  • Overview:

    Manages Genie Parts Warehouse, comprised of Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Material Distribution Specialists. Operations include picking, packaging, and shipping Service Parts orders worldwide. Plans, implements, and participates in a variety of cross-functional management functions at plant level. Responsible for safety, quality, cost, delivery, and morale for the Parts Warehouse. Works closely with Customer Service, Materials, Traffic, and Human Resources to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability.

    Responsibilities:


    • Ensure a safe workplace for all team members

    • Lead continuous improvement in safety, quality, and delivery

    • Ensure system performance to meet quality and delivery requirements

    • Lead standard work implementation

    • Prepare budgets and monitor costs

    • Focus on overall reduction in costs

    • Determine and maintain proper staffing levels

    • Train and coach Team Members

    • Ensure adherence to Genie policies

    • Ensure team members have clear expectations and regular feedback on performance

    Qualifications:

    Basic Qualifications:



    • High School Diploma or GED

    • Minimum 5 years hands-on experience managing in a warehouse, and/or production environment.


     


    Preferred Qualifications:



    • Proven ability to construct and manage a warehouse and or manufacturing process in accordance with accepted quality standards and systems, JIT practices, and Lean Manufacturing 

    • Ability to coordinate and prioritize technical, administrative, and production resources to solve root cause issues

    • Demonstrated ability to plan/manage annual and monthly budgets

    • General knowledge of OSHA/WISHA safety standards and implementation of ergonomic principles

    • Demonstrated project management skills

    • Experience with PC software such as MS Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint

    • Ability to work closely with a diverse group in a team environment

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    • Demonstrated ability to motivate and train others

    • Flexible to work extra hours daily if needed with short notice as production requires

    • Ability to work well under pressure
