    Oklahoma City is a unique site to Terex Corporation in North America, manufacturing for each of the business segments: Terex Aerial Work Platforms, Terex Cranes, and Terex Materials Processing. Its workforce of 500+ team members is anticipated to grow by more than 1,000 over the next few years. The 100+ acre facility has recently completed an extensive remodel to accommodate the business’ growth.


    We are seeking a Project Manager to be accountable for Engineering Change Implementation for Aftermarket Parts and Lifecycle Solutions. This requires managing several concurrent projects varying in size and complexity in the areas of Sustaining Product Change, New Product Development, Product Bulletin, data management technology, quality improvement and strategic initiatives.




    In this position you will:

    • Lead Engineering Change Implementation projects
    • Develop project plans in alignment with the organization’s strategic plans and objectives.
    • Build support to influence decisions in order to ensure work toward common objectives.
    • Manage internal customer expectations from initial opportunity identification and through the project lifecycle.
    • Develop process to gain all required approval and signoff(s) of each project as necessary.
    • Develop root cause analyses and process improvement plans.
    • Maintain all project artifacts.


    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years experience in project management

    Preferred qualifications for this position include:

    • Experience working with process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
    • Education and experience with Project Management methodology based on Project Management principles.
    • Lean education strongly encouraged as soon as available or within the first two years on the job.
    • Experience managing projects with multiple project teams, product development lifecycle, or quality lifecycle.
    • Experience with PM methodologies and software.
    • Experience making formal and informal presentations to cross-functional teams, including, senior management and key stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated experience developing and modifying process standards and objectives as appropriate.
    • Demonstrated management skills and the ability to work effectively to build relationships with department managers and support teams.
    • Ability to effectively present and gather information at status meetings.
    • Ability to develop, direct, motivate and gain the commitment of teams.
    • Ability to translate conceptual thinking into project definitions and requirements.
    • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, prioritize work, manage time and respond effectively to a rapidly changing environment.
    • Ability to exercise sound political and environmental judgment as appropriate to support successful project implementation.
    • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in assessing and mitigating risks through risk planning.
    • Ability to understand and communicate technical specifications and design standards.
    • Demonstrated ability to successfully coach and mentor others.
    • Demonstrated ability to inform and influence senior leadership, management and individuals in various parts of the organization to work toward successful outcomes.
    • Ability to understand the business of Industrial Equipment Aftermarket strategies and plans, and their relationship to organizational strategies.
    • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative multi-functional teams.
    • Demonstrated ability to work as a key member of a technical integration and implementation team.
