    Oklahoma City is a unique site to Terex Corporation in North America, manufacturing for each of the business segments: Terex Aerial Work Platforms, Terex Cranes, and Terex Materials Processing. Its workforce of 360+ team members is anticipated to grow by more than 1,000 over the next few years. The 100+ acre facility has recently begun an extensive remodel to accommodate the business’ growth.

     

    Responsibilities:

    Plans and assigns work, implements/enforces policies and procedures and recommends and/ or implements improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions to assure optimal use of available capacity.

     

    • Ensure a safe workplace for all team members

    • Ensure system performance to meet quality and delivery requirements
    • Lean Manufacturing continuous improvement in safety, quality, and delivery
    • Create and manage area budget
    • Monitor and reduce costs associated with system
    • Determine and maintain proper staffing levels
    • Train and coach team members
    • Ensure adherence to Genie policies and procedures

    Qualifications:

    Basic Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • 4+ years experience in a manufacturing environment

     

    Preferred Qualifications:    

    • Bachelors Degree
    • 1+ years experience QUALITY and HEALTH/SAFETY/ENVIRONMENTAL (HSE).
    • 1+ years supervisory experience, to include facilitating skills of groups ranging in size of four 20-40.
    • 1+ years experience with MS Office, Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Demonstrated application of LEAN manufacturing principles (5S, standard work, waste elimination, etc.).
    • Proficiency in the teaching and presentation of standardized training materials.
    • Flexible, with strong teamwork orientation.
    • Demonstrated leadership ability, including experience coaching and training others.
    • Strong math skills.
    • Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures.
    • Ability to work well under pressure.
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively implement change.
    • Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement and proficient at leading a team through the kaizen cycle.
    • Excellent attendance and a willingness to work a flexible schedule.
    • Experience with project management.
    • Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form with all levels within the organization.
    • Proven facilitation skills of groups ranging in size of 20-40, including a proficiency in the teaching and presentation of standardized training materials.
