    Responsibilities:

    Reporting to the Customer Support Manager, UK and Ireland, you will be responsible for communicating effectively with our customers, in what can be a very demanding role. Responsibilities will include:

     

    • Liaising direct with customers
    • Taking ownership of breakdowns & service visit requests
    • Manage workflow of Service Engineer work orders
    • Reactive to changing demands and priorities
    • Manage engineer schedule, to ensure good utilization of their time 
    • Manage WIP, ensuring all open jobs are reviewed regularly
    • Follow up with engineers, customers and suppliers for job progress
    • Arranging commissioning of new machines
    • Collating job packs to the point of invoice
    • Assisting with the submission of warranty claims
    • Arranging inspections and repair lists for trade-ins
    • Ordering parts for Service jobs
    • Ordering and supplying technical documents for new and used cranes

    Qualifications:

     

    • Excellent customer focus and communication skills
    • Strong English literacy
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Ability to work within a team
    • Ability to take ownership of a problem
    • Preferred previous experience in a commercial machinery environment
    • Engineering/electrical/hydraulic experience would be an advantage
    • Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
    • Knowledge of CRM would be an advantage
    • Past experience of service control, would be an advantage.
