    Terex Utilities is a truck equipment final stage manufacturer of digger derricks, aerial devices and associated equipment for the utility industry, municipals, telecommunications and tree contractor markets.

     

    This position includes but is not limited to leadership and supervision of Team Members in a Continuous Improvement Environment and utilizing Lean Principles with a focus on Safety, Quality, Cash, Cost, Customer, and People. You will arrange for appropriate coordinator personnel and resources, schedule and assign duties to team members according to knowledge, experience, and specific discipline. Integrate the activities of the coordinator team members with the activities of other departments to ensure success and quality of each opportunity.

     

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Provide leadership and direction to the inside sales team members, monitor work quality, timeliness, decision making, interviewing/hiring, overtime scheduling, conducting performance appraisals and providing on-going coaching/feedback to the team.
    • To develop people and to lead independently.
    • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a continuously changing environment.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills: ability to create partnerships with other departments and to support customer requirements.
    • Able to effectively create a vision based on company goals, initiate projects and facilitate their execution, using available resources and Lean techniques.
    • Troubleshoot problems, seek information and advice from other departments, documents and communicate feedback. Take necessary actions to remedy misunderstandings, mistakes, and inconveniences.
    • May occasionally visit customer locations, to orient customers to order entry and tracking processes and learn about customer processes and requirements.
    • Demonstrate an understanding and support of company policies and procedures.
    • Performs other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position.

     

    Qualifications:

     

     

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor degree
    • 5 years supervisory experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Strong leadership, team building and social skills
    • Highly motivated, fast paced, self-starter.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Excellent computer and technology skills.
    • In-depth technical knowledge of the sales order entry procedures.
    • Basic working knowledge of the manufacturing, engineering, and shipping processes.
