    Genie /Terex Aerial Work Platforms (AWP), a business segment of the Terex Corporation, is headquartered in Redmond, WA with branch offices worldwide. We manufacture material lifts, trailer-mounted booms and light towers, telehandlers, scissor lifts and self-propelled telescopic and articulating booms under the globally recognized Genie brand nameplate.

     

    As Senior Marketing Manager you will focus on two important aspects of our marketing mix, leading our online content strategy and the development of high impact sales enablement tools. This is a challenging opportunity for a Senior Marketer with a broad foundation in the marketing discipline, and exceptional communication skills. In this exciting role you will focus on rental customer sales cycles and our end-user partners, while also providing expert support to related marketing functions. Results of your activities will visibly contribute to the revenue and market share of our iconic $2B heavy equipment brand.

    Responsibilities:

    The Senior Marketing Manager role will own our content marketing strategy that drives online customer engagement and lead generation. Working with your expertise in communications, product marketing and digital disciplines, you will develop highly engaging content campaigns to drive customers through our sales journey. Additionally, you will work hand in hand with the sales team on the development of enablement tools, including collateral and sales messaging. You will supervise all social media channels, digital execution and related reporting activities. Your success will be dependent on collaborating extensively with sales, product marketing, external/internal communications, branding and other marketing partners to ensure we are maximizing our online content platforms, while providing the support our sales team needs in the field. Your success will enable the marketing organization to achieve targeted and effective marketing campaigns further supporting our sales funnel. Your primary focus will be on the North American market, while also providing support to the global Genie marketing team.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Generate demand for Genie products and services through creative  engagement activities
    • Collaborate extensively with all marketing disciplines to provide ongoing support for shared initiatives
    • Work cross-functionally to develop content marketing strategies with Sr. Digital Marketing Manager and Communications Manager
    • Identify and develop areas of content improvement in all  customer engagement programs including genielift.com, aerialpros.genielift.com, and all social media platforms
    • Drive the overall growth of the our brand’s social media platforms
    • Create sales enablement tools and programs that will promote sales messaging effectiveness globally with a primary focus on North America
    • Establish consistent communication with the North American Sales team to gather feedback and customer insights to develop effective sales tools, messaging, and collateral
    • Assist with new product launch sales training in collaboration with product management team
    • Lead implementation of value proposition sales messaging
    • Provide support to the product marketing team with campaign development as needed
    • Oversee reporting of all success metrics related to your responsibilities
    • Provide leadership support to the Director of Marketing with team development and special projects as needed
    • Supervise Associate Marketing Manager
    • Collaborate with all AWP global marketing teams and other Terex business segments on related marketing activities
    • Maintain standard work required for role and all direct reports
    • Travel expectancy up to 20%

    Qualifications:

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in applicable disciplines such as Business, Marketing, Communications, etc.
    • Minimum 8 years’ experience in a marketing role that has included a minimum 5 years people leadership, 2 years'  experience developing marketing strategy, management of social media and digital channels, development of sales messaging and/or sales enblement tools as well as management of external vendor relationships
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Masters degree in disciplines such as Business, Marketing, Communications, etc.
    • Demonstrated track record of driving sales revenue through marketing programs
    • Experience working in a B2B, manufacturing or OEM equipment business
    • Experience working with a global, multi-cultural team
    • 2-3 years’ in a product marketing function
    • 2-3 years’ in a communications function
    • Experience working with salesforce.com and/or pardot platforms
    • Proven ability to develop strategies and thought leadership with a passion for forward thinking, considering multiple points of view and the impact on strategic goals
    • Strong relationships management skills, both internally and externally, in a matrixed environment grounded in building consensus and achieving goals through collaboration
    • Ability to manage teams, consultants and other vendors to work in cross-functional teams
