    The Program Manager will be a key contributor to a team that is tasked with refining and implementing the AWP’s global telematics strategy.  The role of the Program Manager is to initiate, plan, execute, manage and finalize strategic cross-functional programs with multiple sub-projects according to defined requirements, scope, budget and schedule.  The Program Manager shall effectively manage Team Members from a broad range of functional areas through sub-project leader, team and individual Team Member objectives.

    Responsibilities:

    Team Management

    • Effectively lead, motivate and delegate to team members from wide variety of organizations that work on multiple projects without direct lines of reporting. 
    • Translate program objectives into team objectives and into individual team member objectives (including TTMS).
    • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members.
    • Quickly accept, administer and manage large scale process changes to a wide variety of team members from different disciplines, backgrounds and cultures.
    • Identify and resolve project issues and team conflicts.
    • When required, negotiate with managers and directors for the acquisition of required resources from within the company.
    • Mentor and inspire the development of team members to attain personal growth and development goals.  

    Strategy Development, Planning and Program Management

    • Direct and manage program development from beginning to end including project and program schedules with telematics supplier
    • In collaboration with stakeholders, define the budget, program plans, requirements, scope, and deliverables that support program objectives.
    • Find and manage relevant data that develops program objectives and strategy.
    • Translate program objectives into work hours, number of team members and skill sets needed to achieve results.
    • Identify and manage program dependencies, schedule and critical path.
    • Proactively identify potential risks, estimate risk costs and develop risk mitigation plans.
    • Develop best practices and tools for project management.
    • Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
    • Utilize change management techniques to manage program documents.
    • Remain on the forefront of emerging industry program management practices.
    • Assist in the development of program management processes and tools based on Terex best practices and lessons learned.

    Communication

    • Provide consistent and tactful communication to team members and project stakeholders on an ongoing basis by written and verbal means.
    • Effectively persuade and influence team members at all levels when needed to meet stated project objectives.
    • Deliver or lead informative, well-organized presentations and improvement workshops.
    • Be sensitive to political environments and grow business relationships vital to the success of the programs being managed.
    • Effectively deal with confrontation and resolve conflicts professionally.

    Qualifications:

    Basic Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma
    • 5+ years in Project Management
    • 5+ years in Management

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelors in business or engineering preferred
    • 5+ years of  direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution
    • 5+ years of experience managing large engineering or manufacturing teams with multiple levels of management
    • Strong familiarity with MS Project and MS Excel software
    • Comprehensive understanding of Terex AWP equipment
    • An understanding of Design Engineering processes
    • Strong familiarity with TBS & Lean Manufacturing
    • Familiarity with Terex New Product Development (NPPD)
    • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • A valid passport or the ability to obtain a valid passport with unrestricted travel to other countries.
    • Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
    • 10% travel may be required with a 25% travel maximum during project implementations.
