    Responsibilities:

    Position:  Associate Product Support Specialist – Development Program

     

    Locations available after the program:

     

    -      Salt Lake City, UT; Madison, WI; Colorado Springs, CO; Kansas City, KS, Minneapolis, MN; Macon, GA; Sacramento, CA; Phoenix, AZ; Des Moines, IA; Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX

     

    The program includes:

    • Rotations – 1 year program, 7 rotations based in Redmond, WA. 
    • Training courses – Product Training, TBS and TOS, Foundations and Customer Service
    • Mentoring – Mentored by experienced Product Support Reps
    • After graduation, PSDP participants will return/relocate to the assigned region, and be eligible for promotion to Product Support Specialist I.
    • Primary responsibility is to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Genie equipment on customer’s site as required.  Also, removes, installs, diagnoses, repairs, disassembles, assembles and performs failure analyses of all heavy equipment. 
    • Duties include: inspections as well as training customers on how to maintain machinery.  Performs trial run of machinery to ensure performance and quality meet established specifications.  Build and maintain customer relationships.
    • Other responsibilities that will be assigned within each region.

    Qualifications:

    • High school graduate, with technical training or technical skill aptitude
    • Inquisitive, analytic, and systematic
    • 1-3 years technical service experience, preferably in related industries (less than 1 year considered with demonstrated technical aptitude),
    • Quick learner and able to build strong relationships
    • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
    • Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative, strong organizational skills, willingness to learn, and strong interpersonal skills
    • Willing to travel and reside in different geographical locations
    • Independent and Pro-active individual who can work alone with minimal supervision
