    Title:               Senior Analyst, Corporate Tax  International Tax

    Reports to:    Director, Corporate Tax – International Tax

    Location:       Westport, CT  


    About the Team

    Position Overview:

    The Senior Analyst, Corporate Tax - International Tax will be involved with all U.S. international tax matters including tax planning, business development, tax provision and tax compliance. The position requires someone with U.S. international corporate income tax experience in public accounting and/ or industry. 


    Responsibilities include:

    • Assist with tax planning projects, such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, legal entity changes, and cash mobilization;
    • Prepare facts and documentation or review prepared materials, and use applicable tax laws to properly determine tax compliance amounts and planning outcomes;
    • Research US international, federal tax issues, and reporting issues, and prepare memos detailing and supporting Terex positions;
    • Coordinate quarterly transaction reporting for financial statement audits;
    • Respond to I.R.S. Information Document Requests regarding U.S. international tax compliance matters; and
    • Other tasks and projects as requested by managers and directors.


    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 2+ years’ experience in U.S. Corporate income tax, U.S. International tax matters, or a combination of the two
    • 2+ years U.S. international tax technical experience with U.S. based multinationals
    • 2+ years’ experience in U.S. international corporate tax compliance, planning or a combination of the two
    • 2+ years’ experience with tax planning and process improvement initiatives using technology solutions


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
    • Master of Science in Taxation (M.S.T.) or Juris Doctor (J.D.)
    • Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.) certification
    • Experience with financial accounting software (Hyperion/ HFM)
    • Significant high-level and sophisticated Excel experience
    • High-quality research and writing skills
    • Detail-oriented approach that meets deadlines
    • Ability to interface with accounting, legal, and treasury teams
    • Solid work ethic, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently
