    Responsibilities:

    The Sales and Engineering Admin reports directly to the Sales Support Manager and is responsible for completing projects and immediate tasks on many levels.  This includes the day to day clerical work load, logistics and communication coordination with the sales and engineering teams.  The Sales and Engineering Admin is a key contributor to order-receipt-to-product-delivery process.  This individual will be required to have a keen attention to detail and understanding of processes and will be responsible for detailed accuracy and compliance. The Sales and Engineering Admin must be able to take the initiative on completing task with only intermediate guidance. 

     

    • Maintain item master and bill of material as prescribed by engineering leads
    • Create and maintain configuration models for the order entry process under the direction of the Sales Support Manager and the Engineering Manager
    • Process engineering change orders through the Terex business system (Oracle based)
    • Understand and execute the sales Order Process from origination to completion
    • Liaison with Sales, Engineering and Manufacturing on new product design projects, including specials, with updates on cost and timing issues
    • Process Change Order Requests relative to customer order specifications
    • Document and file critical machine information in a timely and orderly manner
    • Follow up with customers on miscellaneous delivery, and availability, requests
    • Execute Export & Compliance checks in accordance with company policies
    • Attend scheduled Sales, Production, Inventory, Forecast (SPIF) meetings/teleconferences as required
    • Maintain and distribute Excel and Oracle-based reports as required
    • Provide Sales team with sales, market and inventory data as required
    • Assist with data collection for dealer inventory/scorecards

     

    Qualifications:

    Basic Qualifications:

    • High-school diploma or equivalent 
    • Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in office setting

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Familiarity with engineering bills of material a plus 
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Good relationship building skills and interpersonal skills
    • Must be high energy and is motivated to do what is required to complete the task at hand
    • Strong time management skills
    • Experience in sales based organization
