    Position Overview:

    The Business Tax Analyst is responsible for business tax transactions, analysis, and reporting and also for business licenses. 




    Business Tax responsibility and accountability across all Terex US based entities in the following areas:

    • Prepare sales and use tax returns and related payments
    • Reconcile sales and use tax accounts monthly and resolve open items.
    • Review and approve exemption certificates
    • Maintain and enhance knowledge of tax (and related) law and developments that impact business.
    • Support various projects as required.
    • Maintain and establish business licenses as needed across all US Terex entities.
    • Other business tax projects as time permits. 


    Basic Qualifications: 

    • 1+ years of sales and use tax compliance experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 
    • 3+ years of working Excel knowledge.
    • 1+ year of Public Accounting and/or experience in a large, complex corporate environment.
    • 1+ year of SAP.
    • 1+ year of tax engines such as Vertex and AvaTax.
    • 1+ year of knowledge of sales and use tax.



    • Occasional travel up to 10% to support business segments.
