Overview:

The Inside Sales Representative will be a member of the company’s sales team, supporting sales representatives, coordinating sales-related activities within the company, contribute to achieving sales targets, and maintain good customer relationships by acting as an extension of the field sales force. The candidate should possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, administrative and communication skills, together with an ability to deliver high standards of customer service

Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility is to coordinate a sale from order to delivery.
  • Assist the sales team, focusing mostly on the managing and distribution of sales documentation and proposals.
  • Communicate with customers about products, prices, and availability.
  • Prepare sales contracts for orders obtained and submitting orders for processing.
  • Meet all sales objectives and handling all aspects of completing a sale.
  • Efficiently respond to any online or telephone queries in a calm and friendly manner.
  • Liaise between other departments and the client to provide the service most suitable to the client’s needs, cost and time restraints.
  • Communicate with customers to confirm orders or delivery dates.
  • Act as a first point of contact for urgent calls, emails and messages when sales representatives are not available.
  • Input orders to the company’s computer system and ensure that orders are processed in line with customers’ delivery requirements.
  • Coordinate milestone billing in conjunction with customer terms
  • Inform customers of any delays and arrange alternative delivery dates.
  • Provide information to the finance department on incoming and completed orders as a basis for forecasting cash flow.
  • Contribute to customer satisfaction by ensuring the accuracy and timely processing of orders.
  • Maintain sales records; prepare reports on sales by individual representatives, sales by product line and sales to individual customers.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to assess the progress of the department and develop Sales strategy accordingly, produce reports on progress within the department and outline any developed strategies to improve.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years experience in a sales support role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Advanced Excel
  • Associates Degree
  • Field sales force experience 
  • Basic knowledge of accounting software 
  • Prior customer service experience is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Be able to multitask and pay attention to detail is required.
  • Dedicated, energetic and organized.
  • Ability to work in team environment.
