Oklahoma City is a unique site to Terex Corporation in North America, representing each of the five business segments and manufacturing products for four: Terex Aerial Work Platforms, Terex Cranes, Terex Material Handling & Port Solutions, and Terex Materials Processing. Its workforce of 260+ team members is anticipated to grow by more than 1,000 over the next few years. The 100+ acre facility has recently begun an extensive remodel to accommodate the business’ growth.


This position is responsible for the daily coordination of assigned area.  This includes training and monitoring production processes of a small group of team members.  In addition, this position will be responsible for providing a safe work environment, ensuring standard work is being performed, maintaining 5S levels, identifying and resolving quality issues, addressing line stop/lost production issues, collecting data and maintaining visual displays, participating in RIP’s, and filling in for absent team members on an as needed basis per supervisor’s request.


  • Must have experience in an Operations environment, direct experience in Materials or Shipping preferred.
  • Identify all parts received by name and number, know what parts are used at each work station throughout the plant and deliver parts to work stations throughout the plant
  • Operate fork truck to receive freight off of trucks
  • Flexible, adaptive with a strong orientation toward building effective teams. Able to function effectively in a busy, high-pressure environment without direct supervision.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, computer and math). Skilled at planning, organizing, implementing change and completing production schedules in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability that includes providing daily direction and priorities, multitasking and motivating and training individuals and teams.
  • Ability to make independent, timely decisions, to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external customers, manufacturing, vendors and managers.
  • Understand and support Company policies and procedures. Commitment to safety, quality and the principles of Lean Manufacturing. Excellent Attendance Record.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
