About the Position:

Title:                 Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis        

Reports to:      Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis  

Location:         Westport, CT    

Relocation:      No      


Position Overview:

The Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis will assist the Vice President, FP&A in all areas of reporting, analysis and planning for the Company. Areas include internal and external reporting, planning and forecasting, product line and business unit financial analysis, corporate and functional spend reporting, and M&A modeling. The successful candidate will interact with various Corporate functions including Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and Business Development. 



  • Review and report on monthly business unit markets results.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budget and periodic forecasts.
  • Perform and assist in moderate to complex projects involving the analysis of financial, accounting, and performance and/or operating data.
  • Develop Hyperion Reports, templates and other ad hoc reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations for Investor Relations and the Board of Directors.
  • Evaluation of industry and economic trends and competitor analysis.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related business field with appropriate combination of education and experience
  • 1 to 4 years of experience in Finance or Accounting


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with MS Office, including strong modeling skills in Excel
  • Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivated and positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Proven strong analytical skills

  • Detail-oriented and results driven
  • Ability to multi-task and adjust to changing priorities

  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 10%.
