About the Position

Title:                                   Product Support Specialist Co-op

Type:                                  Co-op, 6 months part-time

Reports to:                         Aftermarket Manager

Location:                            Louisville, KY

Work Eligibility:                 Must be authorized to work in the U.S.



Position Overview

This position will assist with handling assigned customer inquiries pertaining to price and availability along with parts help identification. It will also learn to manage customer order book from placement of order to the closing of order and customer service skills working with an established dealer network.


  • Receive and respond to all customer inquiries and complaints within a 24 to 48 hour turn-around.
  • Advise dealers on the availability of conversion parts and assist dealer and /or customer to solve problems associated with replacement parts.
  • Drive inside and outside sales for Aftermarket, to include suggestive selling.
  • Manage all assigned orders with focus on emergency orders by expediting through supply chain.
  • Enter requisitions for order placement with supply chain.
  • Learn to prepare parts quotations for dealers.
  • Daily phone and email correspondence with dealer network.
  • Communicate to factory through the Helpdesk system- follow-up, follow-through & close issues once resolved.
  • Complaint resolution and/or move to appropriate team member for resolution.


  • Minimum sophomore year standing as of Spring 2018 at an accredited 4 year university/college
  • Minimum of a cumulative GPA of 3.0 required to submit resume to Terex Career Database
  • Track record of demonstrable accomplishments in school and at work

  • 24 hours per week scheduled during business hours of 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM (can coordinate this around student class schedule)
