This position will be responsible for a specific project that is assigned in the areas of commodity management, supplier quality, or supply chain analytics. The candidate is likely to participate in an RFQ process, supplier evaluation process, a selections process, negotiation process, as well as working supplier issues and supplier maintenance. Individual will be exposed to and taught elements of the Toyota Production Systems. Some travel will be required. Work is performed independently under the general direction of a team of experts in the field. We work in and support manufacturing facilities that have elements of vertical integration from raw steel to complex machine assembly.
