  • Product Design Engineer (Job Location: 7727 Freedom Way, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46818): This full-time position serves as a lead Product Design Engineer for Terex’s Advance mixer-products. Develop new Terex-specific product mixer designs and work instructions. Support product changes with Terex-specific designs and drawings. Serve as the liaison to resolve production and design issues with network suppliers. Lead the development and implementation of Terex-specific prototype mixer-components. Analyze proposed Terex-product mixer specifications to determine their feasibility and make changes and updates to engineering bill of materials (“eBOMs”). Create and maintain documentation and comprehension of current International Organizational Standards (“ISO”). Develop, evaluate and improve upon Terex-specific manufacturing methods and processes which will contribute to company's ability to compete in international marketplace. Develop new engine, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic components for the American Truck military vehicles and Terex Advance mixer trucks. Review incoming Terex mixer materials for proper form, fit, and function.

  • Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or 4 years of structural design experience. Also required is 4 years of heavy equipment manufacturing experience. Must also possess 2 years of project leadership experience, including experience with ECN implementation, 3P/NPPD, and Plant Objectives. Also required is 2 years of experience utilizing ProE and/or Autocad; and working in a Lean Manufacturing environment. No relo. available. No 3rd party responses. EOE.
  • Salary Range:  $74,485 - $85,000
