This Human Resource Intern will be responsible with assisting the Compensation and Benefits Manager with Compensation-focused duties.  In addition, the HR Intern will be exposed to all areas of Human Resources (Recruiting, Benefits, HRIS, Payroll, Generalist) within the department and will receive additional assignments/projects as needed. 


Some responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Learn and assist with the completing Job Descriptions for current and new positions.
  • Learn and assist with salary surveys and other research projects
  • Learn and assist with the completion of market salary analysis for new and existing jobs
  • Learn and assist with calculation of monthly/quarterly Sales Incentives
  • Assist with the development and rollout of employee recognition programs
  • Participate in group HR projects

  • In pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field (sophomore or junior preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment
  • Focus on continuous improvement and flexibility to assist the department in any needed area
