The 100+ acre facility has recently begun an extensive remodel to accommodate the business’ growth.

The Quality Technician (QA Tech) will have the responsibility to test, inspect and facilitate raw material receiving, in-process inspection and finished goods inspection. The QA Tech will monitor production processes with the objective of maintaining compliance to written procedures. Also, communicate internally, as appropriate, to identify and sponsor opportunities for quality and productivity improvements.

• Perform Finish Goods inspection of components and assemblies for quality of parts being shipped, validation of all parts being shipped per shipping documents and maintain documents for shipping controls.
• Perform incoming inspection or 1st article inspection on raw materials/components according to written procedures and drawings.
• Monitor and review in-process inspection of production parts and processes
• Perform finished goods audits and document results

• Oversee the MRB process for discrepant materials.
• Perform routine equipment inspections.
• Perform equipment and process validations, as necessary.

• Maintain instrument calibration system, documents and procedures.

• Provide support and analysis for special projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent work experience 
• 2 years of Quality Assurance or related experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of welded fabrications and mechanical components
• Proficient in quality analysis tools such as 5D, SPC, PFMEA, etc.
• Proficient problem solving skills
• Proficient communication, presentation and team skills
• Proficient organizational and time management skills
• Proficient oral and written communication skills
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills
• Proficient in use of MS Office software, Excel. Word, PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of ERP systems, such as Oracle
• Experience in metrology and coordinate measuring machines, prefer FARO equipment experience and InnovMetric-Polyworks software.
• Experience with SolidWorks CAD system
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
