About the Position

Title:                                  Regional Sales Manager

Location:                          Fort Wayne, IN

Position Overview

  • Provide product demonstration, customer support/service, pre-qualify and assist customers with financing, front discharge sales, communicate with Sales Director and inside sales administrator concerning quotes, provide coverage where there is no sales presence at the Regional Sales Managers discretion, provide honest and accurate information about customers and their equipment needs and concerns to the Director of Sales, assist in managing a specific territory of both existing and new accounts, set-up (where needed) and attend trade shows, maintain open communication w/co-workers. Help in solving customers problems that relate back to our product and design. Prepare expense reports, perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Regional sales within territory
  • Analytics of market data to identify trends, options for use of value proposition for sales in the regional market
  • Assist in managing sales of a specified territory
  • Facilitate activities of Field Service Managers as required
  • Develop and manage customer accounts as necessary
  • Quote mixer truck pricing
  • Support order entry/signoff process

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree of an accredited 4 year university/college, Marketing / Business Administration preferred
  • 5-7 year’s related sales experience
  • Valid operational driver’s license (must be able to secure a class B CDL)

  • Strong customer focus with strategic sales focused mindset
  • Ability to relate to others
  • Experience with Concrete, Construction, Material Processing and/or Capital Equipment sales experience
  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Suite of Office products
  • Self-management skills.
  • Solid communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Action oriented and strong follow-up.
  • Positive, can-do attitude; self-starter

 

Hours

  • 40 hours per week during normal office hours, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
