About the Position

Title:                                Engineering Intern

Type:                                Intern, Full-time, 12 week assignment

Number of Positions:     2

Reports to:                      Engineering Product Lead

Location:                         Newton, NH

Work Eligibility:              Must be authorized to work in the U.S.



Position Overview

  • Responsible for supporting the Engineering Department by assisting in drafting, documentation, data management and organization, and mechanical design.


  • Assist with calculations, layouts and detail drawings
  • Assist with the creation in the development of new products and the maintenance of existing products.
  • Candidates with prior experience and more coursework completed may have the opportunity for field work on prototypes.


  • Bachelor’s Degree of an accredited 4 year university/college, Marketing / Business Administration preferred
  • 5-7 year’s related sales experience
  • Valid operational driver’s license (must be able to secure a class B CDL)


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Enrollment (and completion of Sophomore year) in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent machine design engineering program
  • Desire to learn about heavy equipment design and manufacturing
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Word and Excel
  • Experience with Solidworks 3D CAD software
  • Knowledge of common manufacturing terminology and techniques, including welding, fabricating, and machining
  • Thorough knowledge of English and Metric units of measurements, as well as basic mathematics and geometry
  • Self-starter, independent worker with good communication and interpersonal skills





  • 40 hours per week during normal office hours, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
