Title: Business Process & Compliance Manager
Department: Global Business Services (GBS)
Reports To: Finance Director, U.S.
Location: Waverly, Iowa
The Business Process & Compliance Manager will lead control and compliance, process documentation and standardization, Terex Business System (TBS), operational performance, data integrity, and overall customer experience activities at GBS.
This key leadership position works across all GBS process areas including accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and travel expense. Business units across all five Terex segments and the Corporate office are supported by GBS and specifically by the Business Process & Compliance Manager. In addition, this position is critical to ensure GBS operates as one team with standardization and customer experience at the foundation.
This position is a leadership role reporting to the Finance Director which requires skills in leading, influencing and coaching others, sound judgment, excellent communication skills, organizational knowledge, self-management, and strong U.S. GAAP and SOX experience. Formation of strong partnerships with business unit and functional leaders is crucial to the overall success of this role and of Terex.

Master Data Integrity
Demonstrated oversight in areas of accounting, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Proven capabilities in business process mapping, internal control design, KPI reporting, policy and procedure documentation, and continuous improvement activities.
Implementation of lean principles into accounting or general administrative areas.
Strong working knowledge of internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Strong system background and high comfort level in a variety of analysis and reporting tools.
