The Sales Account Specialist is responsible for managing an array of accounts; achieving high sales targets and sometimes overseeing the work of account executives and Regional Sales Managers.  This position is also responsible for building relationships with customers and overseeing sales output.  The Sales Account Specialist should work to satisfy customer needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience and measuring input and output by using analytical tools to develop further growth from the customer.


1.  Customer Account Management

  • Provide courteous and responsive customer service
  • Contact customer pickup and deliveries
  • Provide copies of specs to customer for layouts
  • Confirm with csutomer and interal staff at each level of pipeline management for consistency and accuracy.
  • Responsible for identifying current customer trends, working with the corresponding RSM to create ways to drive and execute on further sales growth opportunities. 

2.  Supervisor

  • At times, oversee the work of Regional Sales Manager for data input and output
  • Make sure all quotes are prepared and sent in a timely manner in order to achieve pipeline management
  • Responsible for for review of pipeline managment customer relationship management (CRM) tools
  • Responsible for notifying customers upon delivery date changes
  • Responsible for tracking schedule for month end financial reporting and analytics

3.  Administrative

  • Create, maintain, and provide vatious reports to Director of Customer Engagement and other staff as required
  • Run monthly report for sales of the delivery performance
  • Run weekly report on sales/forecast
  • Prepare sales quotes as necessary
  • Prepare sales orders and deviations
  • Track monthly deliveries and promise date
  • Track payments with accounting
  • Maintain production schedule based on customer promise dates
  • Supply management and production personnel with updated production schedules and estimated component schedule on a real time basis
  • Other duties as required.




Basic Qualifications

  • 1 year capital equipment sales account management experience
  • 1 year industry experience (concrete, construction or manufacturing)

Preferred Qualifications

 Bachelor's Degree
