Terex®MPS provides a complete range of crushing and screening equipment to customers around the world operating in four key industries:

  • Our equipment is designed to produce the highest quality end products in processing hard and soft rock, sand and gravel, ore and industrial minerals.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand markets, customers, and economics for their product line, to fully develop quality and profitable products through the NPPD process.
  • Drives the execution of strategic plans through extensive knowledge and research of customer needs, market trends and segmentation, customer/market segmentation, distribution channel characteristics, target market size, external environmental and economic trends, and financial analysis.
  • Manages activities that benefit the entire PM team (e.g., standardized processes).
  • Creates, manages and executes new product introduction strategies.
  • Assists with development of the marketing plans to support the business plan and strategy.
  • Drives product specific market research to support product development team, including frequent customer visits/meetings to better understand our business.
  • Maintains current knowledge of the competitive products and projects future strategies by competitors.
  • Makes recommendations for innovative solutions to improve our short-term and long-term competitive position, including cost downs and improved market share.
  • Identifies opportunities for differentiation of our products and industry leadership.
  • Manages NPPD programs from start to finish for new products, following the Product Road Map strategy and the Gate Review process.
  • Produce sales specifications, competitor comparisons and provide data for marketing and sales training material.
  • To review summary data from dealers and customers then make recommendations and changes to existing vibratory equipment or the introduction of new screening or feeder products.
  • Assist with the support and promotion of the Vibrating Equipment sales effort via proactive support of distributors and regional sales managers.
  • Establishment and maintenance of internal documentation and systems for the effective management of product development in line with Terex NPPD processes.
  • Provide input and guidance to in house engineering & R&D teams on the use of new IT and engineering technology for incorporation into our Vibrating product offering.
  • Provide input and guidance for our in house engineering & R&D teams for the development of up selling options & captive aftermarket opportunities into our vibrating product offering.
  • Effective capture and recording of relevant data, empirical evidence and comparisons for future retrieval and usage
  • Monitor product margins and competitive market price
  • Produce and maintain sales documents including price forms and option packages for product lines.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

 

  • High School Diploma or accredted GED plus a minimum of 10 years related experience OR Bachelor's Degree plus minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • 5 plus years of Vibratory Experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Analytical and reasoned with an appreciation of product cost
  • Able to influence and guide at all levels
  • Good Project management skills
  • Up to 30% national and international travel required
