The Aftermarket Parts Sales Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for supporting and developing aftermarket sales for our Canica and Simplicity brands to an established distributor network by understanding the technical aspects of all of the for mentioned brands along with, but not limited to the applications they are used in and the competitive challenges with this equipment. This position will be asked to make dealer and end customer cold calls to make sales, prepare quotations, process orders, expedite orders through distributors and direct end-users, collect vital buying habit information from distributors and end users, build relationships with all key personal, travel to distributors and end customers up to 10% annually.


Essential Functions:

  • Prepares quotations, processes and expedites order through distributors and to direct end-users.
  • Solicit sales of parts when speaking with customers.
  • Assist with parts data and information as required.
  • Work with other internal departments to correct parts manuals, prints, inventory and pricing.
  • Support distributor’s technical calls and overall distributor customer service.
  • Support historical information by maintaining records on distributors and products that are at the fingertips of all aftermarket team members.
  • Understands our distributors buying habits.
  • Understands our dealers inventory policies.
  • Understands the overall aftermarket sales mind set of each distributor.
  • Understands competitor products and pricing to identify sales opportunities.
  • Provided the Aftermarket Parts Support Manager with all key competitors Intel.
  • Develop and maintain recommended parts list for equipment based in distributor’s area of responsibility.
  • Provides distributors with information on parts usage and trends.
  • Works hand-in-hand with distributors to build a completed working relationship with end customers in distributor’s area of responsibility’s.
  • Coordinates sales efforts with other product functions.
  • Supports sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing distributors.
  • Contributes to the Team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Participates in gathering Intel to help better price our parts to be more competitive.
  • Participates in creation and implantation of distributor score card and review process.
  • Provided management with any and all new products or improvements to increase sales.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, training & reviewing professional publications.
  • Work with the Aftermarket Support Manager & Aftermarket Business Development Manager, Americas on any and all Canica & Simplicity parts functions.
  • Other duties as assigned that support the overall objectives of the organization.


Basic Qualifications:


  • High School Education or (GED) is required.
  • Minimum 2 plus years Customer Service in parts or capital equipment 
  • Minimum 2 plus years’ experience reading schematics/blueprints
