Responsibilities:

Performs a variety of tasks in the pursuit of insuring Terex Utilities delivers quality products that meet customer expectations. They may be required to function in any of the following areas as needed: Receiving Inspection, In-process Inspection, Calibration, Internal and External Auditing, Final Inspection, Pre-delivery Inspection, Road Test and Operational Test of unit.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Must have CDL or be able to obtain.
  2. Proficient in blueprint interpretation, and installation drawings.
  3. Proficient in the use of precision measuring equipment.
  4. Highly proficient in communicating problems and solutions to their supervisor, internal and external customers, and with other departments and plants.
  5. Ability to effectively access Company on-line product structure, route inventory, and demand files as needed to perform problem resolution.
  6. Must be familiar with weld inspection and the non-destructive testing methods used by Terex Utilities at the various facilities.
  7. Ability to investigate problems, determine root cause, and suggest or implement effective solutions.
  8. Must have a desire to make a difference, make long-term changes to Terex Utilities Quality.
  9. Ability to train the Terex Utilities team on Quality Standards and Customer Requirements.
  10. Perform Audits/Inspections at specified Quality gates.
  11. Other Job duties as assigned

 

Physical requirements of the job: Ability to access the truck, above, below and all around the truck along with getting into the basket and functioning the unit.

Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Desire minimum of three years’ experience in Assembly/Installation, Testing, or Inspection.
