Terex Advance Mixer is a manufacturer of Concrete Mixers and is located in Fort Wayne, IN. 

Responsibilities:

The Aftermarket Manager position is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction goals are met while achieving the KPIs set for the Terex Advance business unit, through direct sales and dealer programs, product planning and execution, defining opportunities, and creating short and long-term strategies and goals with both the Director of Customer Engagement and the General Manager. The Aftermarket Sales Manager with have direct impact on the  top and bottom line in a growing company.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with management of the business unit to design strategy and roadmap
  • Lead inside customer service team
  • Gather customer requirements (Voice of the Customer) and share with fellow Team Members and Management
  • Determine customer part and support needs and desires by specifying the analysis needed to obtain market information
  • Support the Business Unit in dealer development along with metrics to measure growth
  • Develop relationships with direct customer groups, promote opportunities
  • Provide information for management by preparing short-term and long-term sales forecasts and special reports and analyses, promptly answer questions and requests
  • Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraise new product ideas
  • Work with the National Sales Manager to expand aftermarket parts sales by bringing new products to market including analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs, preparing return-on investment analyses, and establishing time schedules with engineering and manufacturing
  • Utilize pricing optimization strategies to maximize profit potentials
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of Terex Advance manufacturing to support customer needs
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators to ensure consistent growth
  • Lead warehouse personnel to help achieve KPI's for CSR team through effiecient, productive metrics.
  • Support execution and continuous improvement of effective processes and flows to support the Business Systems
  • Support inventory management by eliminating unprofitable and unused products (E&O management)
  • Work with the Director of Customer Engagement and General Manager to identify and set customer support metrics and expense targets
  • Communicate issues with the Site Leadership Team at weekly management meetings
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with customers, associates, and other departments that support operations

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploms/GED
  • 1 year managing direct reports
  • 3-5 years aftermarket sales experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of technology methods
  • Strong problem solving and decision making ability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams
  • Adept in planning, preparation and opportunity management
  • Self-motivated with a goal-oriented personality
  • Team player who promotes cross-functional collaboration
  • Proficient in MS Office & Oracle based ERP
  • Bachelor's or University Degree
  • Capable to follow through on commitments made to customers and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to travel up to 25%
