The qualified candidate will supervise production workers, facilitate the implementation of Lean Manufacturing Processes.  Coach and direct production workers, schedules work and work hours.


  • Provide support and direction in the implementation and administration of quality systems.
  • Lead Installation Quality team making certain product meets Customers expectations, ensuring all products are manufactured in compliance with product requirements, safety standards and design specifications.
  • Provide strong visibility of nonconformance issues, associated projects and progress.
  • Drive, design and manufacture quality improvements utilitizing a data-based decision making approach, rapid problem resolution.  Collaboration with Engineers, Customers and continuous process/engineering improvements.
  • Create results through customer responsiveness and continuous process improvement.
  • Evaluate work methods, procedures and policies while also coaching and mentoring functional groups and departments on quality processes.
  • Indentify areas of systemic weakness and lead initiatives to implement corrective action.
  • Supports efforts in conjunction with Manufacturing and Engineering to develop plans for continual improvement of product and process quality.
  • Provide support to groups and departments regarding product quality issues, measurement data, measurement techniques and performance.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to guide others to make sound quality decicions.
  • Must be self-directed and show initiative in identifying and resolving opportunitites for improvement, promoting quality initiatives, and driving continual improvement in the Quality System.


Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 1 year prior leadership/supervisor experience in Quality Assurance activities with decision-making responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4 year technical degree
  • 1+ years’ experience with MS Office – Advanced user skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Profienciecy with personal computers and associated software to effectively analyze, communicate and react to statistical and trend analysis of data.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team, work under the pressure of deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy.
