Terex Utilities is a truck equipment final stage manufacturer of digger derricks, aerial devices and associated equipment for the utility industry, municipals, telecommunications, tree and electrical contractor markets. 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with work teams to identify system and process improvement opportunities.
  • Conducts training in Lean principles, methods, and tools.  
  • Serves as internal advisor, facilitator, and participant on team-based improvement projects. Assists teams with identifying improvement opportunities, developing action plans, and joint problems-solving.
  • Conducts training needs assessments.  
  • Develops instructional objectives for, but not limited to technical, sales, team building, quality improvement, process improvement, and supervisory training. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position.





Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Five (5) years experience working within a Lean operating system.
  • Five years experience leading kaizen improvement.
  • 1 year of management experience with direct reports.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business
  • Ability to conduct training in Lean principles, methods and tools
  • Toyota Production Systems a plus
