Oklahoma City is a unique site to Terex Corporation in North America, manufacturing for each of the business segments: Terex Aerial Work Platforms, Terex Cranes, and Terex Materials Processing. Its workforce of 360+ team members is anticipated to grow by more than 1,000 over the next few years. The 100+ acre facility has recently completed an extensive remodel to accommodate the business’ growth.



The Product Marketing Manager leads all Analysis regarding his/her product line (Rough Terrain Cranes, Boom Trucks and Truck Cranes) globally to support product management and senior management in strategic decisions. He/she is the resident "marketing expert" on assigned crane models to support all sales and marketing efforts. He/she is responsible to gather and understand customer needs "Voice of the Customer” and transformation as input for new Product Development. He/she reports to the Director, Product Management and Engineering, and interacts regularly with customers, sales team, engineering team and senior management. He/she works with VP of Marketing to strategize, plan, manage and successfully implement all product marketing, promotion and outreach activities.


This position will be responsible to support product range during all its life in different tasks such as:

Identify Target Customers and Target Customers Business Needs

Perform regular Market Analysis

Gather and understand Market Trends

Analyze Competition Offering and Competition Performance (Margin, Share) Define Specifications from Customer Needs

Product, market and customer segmentation

Margin Analysis Develop, analyze and update Offering Line-up Be the driver for New Product Development Proposals and Product Improvements Collect Voice of the Customer for New Product Developments and Coordinate Development of Requirements Plan and Coordinate Product Launch

Defining Selling Proposition price positioning and price lists

         Specify options and features for each Model and define preferred Equipment Packages

         Support definition of Model Numbering

         Develop and update Marketing material such as Brochures, Datasheets, product presentations and

         product newsletters (Product Brief)

Evangelizing product and vision throughout the company, channel, customer base and publicly e.g. conferences. 

Also coordinates and supports the product specialist team in various tasks such as:

Prepare Price Sheets, Competitive Comparisons, Product Presentations and other Sales Support material

Prepare and deliver Product and Sales Training to Sales and Distribution Perform Product Presentations for Customers Execute Special Equipment Requests and prepare new option proposals Support Tender Requests & Government Projects

This role will also work closely with the sales teams to drive market share improvements


To be successful in this role, the Product Marketing Manager needs to have a strong technical customer/sales and product marketing background, as well as be skilled in competitor analysis, market research, and technical writing Additionally he/she must have a general understanding for business-oriented activities like conducting ROI and TCO analysis Fluent English is essential; knowledge of any other languages is favorable.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Marketing
  • 2 years of heavy equipment sales and marketing experience
  • 1 year working in a Product Development, Sales or Marketing role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluent written and oral English required; Italian, German or any other language a plus
  • Customer facing experience and knowledge of the support process
  • Experience in New Product Development, Sales or Marketing 
  • Organizational Savvy to work in a global Matrix Organization
  • Comfortable talking with a wide variety of people and communicate effectively in verbal, written and presentation format
