Develops new services and existing distribution for RT, TC, Boom Trucks, Tower and AT crane products. Ensures continued sales growth in assigned region, industry or national account. Targets each marketplace and develops the best companies to rent, sell and service products. All aspects of field based customer service including relationship development, problem solving, communication, territory management, training and product demonstration.


Location:  Mid West / Texas. 




  • Support the dealers in identifying the product specifications, price, delivery, and sales opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with the dealer network to ensure:
    • Dealer accounts are settled on time.
    • Dealer agreements are in place and in line with Terex policy where required
    • Dealer weaknesses are identified, corrective actions are identified and improvement plan is agreed to.
  • Facilitate communications between dealers and Terex; Order Entry, Marketing, Finance, etc.
  • Set and measure dealer targets for machines and parts sales.
  • Keep abreast of market trends through competitor analysis to ensure the Terex is informed of changes in the market place.
  • Promote the use of TFS as a sales tool.
  • Provide input on production allocation by attending weekly SPIF meetings.


Basic Qualifications

    • Minimum 5 plus years of Crane Experience
    • Minimum 2 plus years of Sales Experience 
    • Minimum 2 years is managing distributions 
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Professional level knowledge of the principles and practices involved in new business development, product and sales.
    • Strong mechanical aptitude to provide appropriate communication with customer base and distribution.
    • Excellent human relations skills to prepare and deliver formal presentations to customers.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Knowledge of Crane products, engineering, manufacturing and product support process.
    • Microsoft Office skills.
    • Time and Territory management practices must be exceptional.
    • Strong business accounting and finance knowledge preferred.
    • Manage expense account and territory budget.
    • Able to work without close supervision.




  • Extensive travel required (60% to 75%) to visit customers.
