This position is responsible for training on Crawler Cranes, Truck Cranes, Boom Trucks, Tower Cranes, and Rough Terrain Cranes. The position is also responsible for arranging, coordinating, and participating in all cranes product training for TEREX Cranes in North America (factory held as well as on site training), including the creation of training materials. Additionally, this position requires someone with a high degree of integrity, ability to maintain confidentiality at all times, and who demonstrates a sense of urgency, purpose, good organizational skills and teamwork.


This position is open to TX, OK, AR and KS. 


Job Responsibilities

  •  Promote and arrange all TEREX Crane training (i.e. Crawler Cranes, Truck Cranes, Boom Trucks, Tower Cranes and Rough Terrain Cranes).
  •  Work with current TEREX trainers to update and improve curriculum.
  •  Develop training classes for new TEREX models.
  •  Develop and create training materials for TEREX models.
  •  Work with vendors on updating training aids and materials.
  •  Keep the new TEREX Training web site information current (i.e. Training schedules, new classes, technical tips, etc.). 
  •  Monitor online registration to control class sizes (schedule additional training for high demand classes and adjust schedules for less popular training classes)
  •  Organize and make all training materials available, develop budgets, etc. 
  •  Develop compressed onsite training programs that can be tailored to the customers specific requirements (i.e. maintenance/operator familiarization)
  •  Back up and support the current TEREX service organization as required.


Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, college preferred
  • 5 years of experience in training, including creating and designing training materials.


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Associates, Bachelor's or Trade School preferred.
  • Must be able to read and understand complex mechanical, electrical and hydraulic schematics.
  • Must have advanced knowledge of cranes (i.e., crane anatomy and function).
  • Must be well spoken, highly motivated and a self-starter.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with people of all skill and experience levels.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.


Language Requirements: Ability to speak Spanish a plus

Travel: Must be able to travel 30-50% of the time (often on short notice).
