MAJOR TASKS: In accordance with the goals, policies, and procedures of Terex the Lean Line Supervisor is responsible and accountable for the following essential functions and other duties as directed that correspond to the overall function of this position.

| Responsibilities: |
This position is responsible for the daily coordination and supervision of assigned area. This includes monitoring all work for quality and timeliness, problem solving and decision making on routine work, production and quality control tracking, interviewing/hiring, overtime scheduling, conducting performance appraisals and providing on-going coaching and feedback to supervised team members. A primary function of this position is to ensure the production of products with a primary focus on lean manufacturing. - Responsible for setting up the training processes for production team members and team leads to bring to full competence.
- Establish priorities and sequences for manufacturing products
- Reviews production orders and determines work hours needed to complete assignments
- On-time delivery: implement and ensure items are completed on schedule
- Implement lean manufacturing
- Setup and manage production flow by takt time
- Ensure andon is utilized and immediate response action is taken
- Coach daily team member improvements (daily kaizen)
- Continually monitor and improve the quality, efficiency and responsiveness of assigned area
- Promote and monitor safety compliance
- Perform additional duties as assigned

| Qualifications: |
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Formal Lean Training may be substituted. Microsoft suite knowledge preferred. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 4 years experience in a manufacturing environment. Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience preferred. Experience working in a lean environment and implementing process improvements. Demonstrated ability to effectively implement change. Knowledge and understanding of assembly, welding, fabrication, and/or production processes. Related technical ability and good understanding of production processes and equipment. Demonstrated leadership ability, including experience coaching and training others. Demonstrated integrity, working with transparency, and leadership ability. Demonstrated ability to effectively implement change. SKILLS: Excellent communication skills; verbal and written. Computer skills; MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Process improvement, process management, and lean manufacturing knowledge. Ability to write and implement area processes. Ability to work well under pressure. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Optimize capacity utilization. Flexible with strong teamwork orientation. Commitment and understanding of Lean Principles. Must be results oriented and able to perform with minimal error. Strong organization and time management skills. Ability to use considerable independent judgment without compromising policies and procedures. Strong orientation to safety and quality.
