Overview:

The field based engineer is responsible for delivering maintenance and breakdowns response to a designated area. Plays a key role in making sure we deliver a first class service to our customers, making sure cranes are fixed on time, first time, right. Also making sure we deliver an effective service within the guidelines of health & safety
Responsibilities:

 

*Maintain products as per manufactures/Loler recommendations.

*ttend breakdowns as required.

*omplete paperwork as required

*anage area effectively and efficiently

 

Performance Measure
Outputs/measures of success in the job

* Services issued completed on time/within guidelines

* Attends breakdowns as requested and controllers report a positive flexible
Qualifications:

 

* City & Guilds or equivalent

* Apprentice trained

* Completed training on Atlas Terex Product

 

2. Skills & Knowledge
What key skills are essential and desirable for the role and what level of understanding is required? (List in sufficient details to enable you to distinguish acceptable/unacceptable standards)

* Clear understanding of mechanical/hydraulic/electrical systems.

* Technical ability - basic electric knowledge/skills.

* Effective communicator

* Be logical in approach to diagnostic tasks.

* Honest, reliable, trustworthy, good time keeper.

 

3. Experience
What type and level of experience is required - be specific

* 5 years within industry

* Preferably apprentice trained.

* Proven track record in mechanical/electrical/hydraulic repairs.

*Technical knowledge.
